Teen Suicide

Andrea: A Friend in Need Sixteen-year-old Andrea died in a hospital after poisoning herself with fumes from the family car. She left a large group of stunned friends. During interviews with trained therapists, Andrea's friends reflect on their feelings of sadness and loss. Just as important, they discuss how teen suicide could be prevented. Viewers learn to identify early warning signs of suicidal individuals. As one of Andrea's friends comments, "Unfortunately, Andrea didn't realize there are many solutions--you just have to look for them." $99 (rental 50), 40 minutes.
